Our Programme

Individual horses. Individual futures.

Retraining begins with understanding, not a deadline.

Arrival & assessment

Understanding the whole horse: racing history, health, routine and temperament.

Let-down & transition

Time to settle into a different rhythm, with management shaped around the individual.

Physical & mental foundations

Building comfort, confidence and a sound basis for learning.

Ridden education

Introducing new aids and expectations at a pace the horse can understand.

Real-world exposure

Carefully widening experience beyond the familiarity of the racing yard.

An individual future pathway

Assessing what the horse enjoys and where its abilities and needs fit.

Careful matching & placement

An honest conversation about the horse and the home, followed by a considered match.

Traceability & ongoing support

Keeping the horse’s history connected as its life and circumstances change.

Time to build the right foundations

A horse will normally remain with Newform for at least three months before sale or rehoming. That is a planning expectation, rather than a promise that every horse will be ready at the same point. Health, confidence and individual progress guide the pathway.

A considered next step

Let’s talk about the right future.
